Fantastic skiing conditions for the first week of the season across all our resorts. Here we are taking full advantage of powder through the trees in Ardent on a snowy day - Family Ski Snowy Powder Day Video - this taken through the trees on beneath the Prolays and Lindarets Express lifts which is always an excellent choice on a snowy day, on piste or off.
And when the sun came out the conditions were magical - Family Ski Sunny Powder Day Video - the skiiing here is from the Bassachaux ridge at the top of the Chaux Fleurie lift down the Chatel valley and in the Fournet Valley above Avoriaz.
Full avalanche protection kit was worn and conditions appraised! Unless you are an experienced off-piste skier and certain of conditions and risks, go with a guide.
