Arrival and Welcome
We take care to ensure you have a warm welcome to your skiing holiday to ensure you and your family get the most out of it - on your arrival you will be greeted with a glass of vin chaud as you meet other guests and your chalet host briefs you with essential information. On your first day our ski host will meet guests for an afternoon's skiing to orientate you in resort. This is a great opportunity for guests to meet others of similar level and interest who will enjoy skiing together. On the same evening we continue the social theme with pre-dinner canapés and kir pétillant in your chalet before dinner.
Breakfast
We have worked hard to ensure that our service matches perfectly the needs of families skiing with children. Breakfast is served from 8.00 am when your Chalet Cook or Host will be available
to prepare dishes from our breakfast menu. Staff will deliver fresh bread and any
early risers will find breakfast laid out the night before.
Ski chalets David, Cosy and Les Falaises are self-service but fresh bread will be delivered
each morning and the host will clear up once you have taken to the slopes.
Childcare
Our childcare crèches open at 9.00am so you can settle your youngest children into
our Powder Pups Club. Children skiing booked in to Powder Hounds, Huskies
and Adventurers will meet with the Ski School Helper who is a friendly
face at the start of each morning’s lesson.
Our friendly childcare staff will be waiting to collect children skiing from their ski lessons and
take them back to the ski chalet for a hot lunch to warm up after a morning on the slopes.
We have structured activities both outdoors and indoors tailored to suit the different
ages and interests of the children in our care. We have regular snack times with
fruit, biscuits and the occasional treat to keep energy levels up. Juice, Squash,
Fresh Milk and Water are always available.
Afternoon tea
Afternoon tea is laid out in your ski chalet for your return from the slopes - help
yourself to freshly baked cakes or biscuits, fresh bread, jams, hot chocolate, teas
and coffee.
Children’s Dinner
We use fresh produce to create simple dishes that appeal to children’s tastes - not processed foods - offering a healthy and tasty menu.
Our cooks create a two course evening meal served between 5.30 and 6.00pm - giving
you plenty of time to get younger children into bed by 8.00pm when you sit down
for dinner.
Adults’ Dinner
Our well-trained chefs and cooks create fantastic, three-course menus each evening
using fresh ingredients. Your Chalet Host is on hand each evening to make your stay
as relaxing as possible, whether you want a glass of wine, a chat about the day
or some peace and quiet to curl up with a book by the fire. At 8.00pm guests sit
down to a candle-lit evening meal and your Cook and Host will eat with you. We provide
unlimited house wine or you can select from our à la carte wine list.
We are happy to cater for any special dietary requirements but please do ask at
the time of booking.
Your cook will have one night off when we collect pizza or similar as a
treat for the children. Staff in resort will be pleased to recommend and book a
local restaurant. We provide a free baby-sitting service on this evening so you
can enjoy a meal out together.

skiing and in our creche will also be having a fantastic time, making friends and enjoying a wealth of games
and activities.
