Qualified Childcare Nanny 
As a Childcare Nanny you will hold a professional childcare qualification and be enthusiastic, imaginative and self-motivated to provide fun, safe and secure activities for the children on holiday.
Childcare Nannies work within the childcare team alongside the Activity Leaders on a rota basis. Children’s ages range from 3 months to 12 years. Each resort has its own well-equipped crèche, and Nannies are expected to contribute to the design of the weekly activity time table.
Minimum qualification /experience: NNEB, BTEC or NVQ level 3 in Childcare, a Diploma in Nursery Nursing or equivalent UK qualifications, professional experience essential. We believe that even the youngest of children are entitled to enjoy their holiday in the Alps as much as their parents, therefore, enthusiastic, imaginative and self-motivated staff members are required.

Childcare Manager 
The Childcare Manager will work within and lead a team of 16 child carers working from 3 crèches in our resort of Ardent in the Portes du Soleil. You will work closely with the Resort Manager, Childcare Nannies, Activity Leaders, Ski School Helpers and parents to provide fun-filled and safe care for babies and children aged from 3 months to 12 years.
Each childcare club has its own well-equipped crèche and the Childcare Manager ensures that each group has a stimulating weekly time table, holds bi-weekly team meetings, produces staff rotas and liaises directly with parents and resort management. The role will involve a considerable amount of people management as well as proven childcare skills.
Minimum qualification /experience: NNEB, BTEC or NVQ level 3 in Childcare, a Diploma in Nursery Nursing or equivalent UK qualifications, professional experience essential. The Childcare Manager is expected to be approachable, responsible, caring, diplomatic and professional and have proven organisational and people management skills.

Activity Leader

Head Activity Leader
As a Head Activity Leader you will hold professional qualifications in childcare and be approachable, responsible, caring and diplomatic. You will also have proven organisational and people management skills.
Head Activity Leaders lead and work in resort within a team of 5 - 11 Nannies and Activity Leaders, providing fun, safe and secure childcare. Children holidaying with Family Ski Company can range from between 3 months to 12 years of age and each child needs a differing level of childcare. Chalet Chef/Cook 
As a Chalet Cook you will love cooking and food presentation and have confidence to cook for up to 12 adults.
Chalet Cooks prepare all the meals in the chalet and join adult guests for their evening meal. Working alongside a Chalet Host you will provide breakfast, home-baked afternoon tea, children’s food and keep the kitchen clean. You will also go food shopping, order from suppliers and maintain stock control in your chalet.
Full training will be given on our menu but you should have a sound knowledge of food and kitchen hygiene and although not essential a Driving Licence is an advantage for this role.

Chalet Host 
Hosts are outgoing individuals with exceptional communication skills who genuinely enjoy looking after people and entertaining in a homely environment with a genuine sense of personal pride and ownership.
The first point of contact Hosts are ambassadors for Family Ski Company and take genuine pride in looking after guests’ comfort and welfare. As a Host you will use initiative and flexibility to best manage the day to day running of the chalet. This role also involves daily cleaning, basic property maintenance and stock control, whilst also assisting the Cook with the serving and hosting of the adults evening meal.

Ski School Helper 
Family Ski Company specialises in providing catered chalet holidays with a flexible programme of childcare. As a Ski School Helper you will be an experienced skier who has worked extensively with children, have good communication and organisational skills and a confident working knowledge of French or German.
Ski School Helpers are based at the Ski School in the morning to help and encourage the younger children to get the most out of skiing. A familiar face each morning, you will help out if understanding is difficult, handle unscheduled toilet stops and pick up fallers and assist them on their way again. On two afternoons you will return to the mountain to ski with the Huskies and Adventurers clubs and on a third afternoon you will assist the Ski School with an adult free ski session. Ski School Helpers are also responsible for offering continuous feedback to parents on the performance of their children and will host the Friday Ski School Presentation.
Advanced skiing experience necessary, professional instruction qualifications an advantage, proven customer service background and good working knowledge of French or German is essential. A Driving licence is preferred.

Assistant Resort Manager
The Assistant Resort Manager is primarily there to support the Resort Manager and assist the rest of the team.
As an Assistant Resort Manager you will need to be extremely flexible, organised, easy going, have experience working with children, catering, skiing or snowboarding, hold a clean driving licence and possess strong managerial skills. This varied position covers all aspects of working within a ski resort and the applicant can expect to gain valuable management experience within a busy ski resort. The Assistant Resort Manager will be expected to ‘step into’ any role within the team and complete that job to a high standard. This also includes acting as Resort Manager when required.

Resort Manager
the Resort Manager is ultimately responsible for the smooth running of every aspect of the resort.
The position involves a great deal of organisation and planning whilst at the same time daily contact with the guests and resort team, so strong people management skills are also essential. Responding calmly to changing circumstances and maintaining staff and guest morale is an essential part of the job. Resort Managers are expected to be approachable, responsible and diplomatic, and have a good working knowledge of either French or German. Resort Managers must ensure their resort team have the necessary resources, skills and support to carry out their jobs in a happy and supportive environment. Experience in the hospitality industry is preferred and you must possess strong managerial skills. A driving licence is essential.
