Transfers
When traveling with young children flexibility is important and that’s why our transfer service runs from two airports with great low cost connections and two stations served by Snow Train and Eurostar services.
Geneva is our standard airport for all resorts and a hub for low cost flights. It
is particularly well placed for our resort of Ardent being just a 90 minute transfer.
Chambèry is ideal for our resorts of Reberty and Les Coches offering the
shortest transfer time at around 2 hours.
For families who prefer to travel by Snow Train to gain more time on the slopes
we offer a transfer service from Moutiers and Bourg-St-Maurice stations to our resorts
in the Savoie (Reberty and Les Coches)
Ideally transfers should be booked when confirming your holiday and should fit in
with our transfer service offered between 11.00am and 3.30pm each
Saturday. We may not be able to provide transfers for very early or late flights.
We know how stressful long waits at the airport can be and we carefully plan our
transfers to avoid unneccesary waiting.
We use a fleet of eight-seater minibuses, hire cars, coaches and independent transfer
companies to provide transfers exclusive to our guests but not
necessarily private to your individual party. To give us greater flexibility guests
arriving or leaving on similarly timed flights may be grouped together for transfers
and on occasions this may be a coach. Please note that we do our utmost to ensure
seatbelts are available on any coaches we hire but under French law seatbelts are
not mandatory and therefore we cannot guarantee the use of child seats on such transfers.
Transfer days in the Alps can be busy so to give you added peace of mind Family
Ski Company provides a transfer co-ordinator who can help with any problems caused
by flight delays, bad weather or traffic hold ups.
